Agripunk si trova ad Ambra in provincia di Arezzo ed è, da oltre 10 anni, un progetto di riconversione di un ex allevamento intensivo di tacchine in rifugio antispecista per animali in fuoriuscita dal sistema zootecnico.

AGGIORNAMENTO del 5 giugno

Grazie infinite per il vostro sostegno! 

Settimana scorsa è stata approvata dal Consiglio Comunale del Comune di Firenze la mozione proposta da Djmitri Palagi e verrà inviata alla Regione Toscana in questi giorni. 

Sempre in questi giorni è stata depositata un' interrogazione parlamentare a nostro favore dall' onorevole Devis Dori per chiedere una soluzione che permetta la prosecuzione della nostra esistenza. 

Nel frattempo c'è stato un primo incontro preliminare tra il nostro tecnico l' ingegnere Cardinali e il Comune di Bucine e ne seguirà un altro in nostra presenza il 16 giugno. 

In tutto questo cerchiamo di guardare al futuro e vi preannunciamo che è in fase di completamento un progetto fantastico per il futuro di questo luogo a cura di Lisa Carignani e Chiara Massimi che verrà presentato in quell'occasione.

Per chi si chiede come aiutarci, diffondete la nostra storia e questa raccolta fondi!

In questo luogo abitano quasi un centinaio di animali di varie specie tra soggettività liberate dalla violenza zootecnia e soggettività libere che scelgono questo luogo come spazio sicuro in cui esistere. 

Questo spazio è stato ed è attraversato da centinaia di persone tra volontariɜ, artistɜ, musicistɜ, attivistɜ. Prima di noi 30.000 tacchine ogni 3 mesi andavano al mattatoio dopo una breve non esistenza rinchiuse dentro a questi capannoni. 

12 anni che questo luogo significa altro. 

Non possiamo lasciarlo andare.

CHI ABITA IL RIFUGIO

Il rifugio è abitato da circa 80 animali, che noi preferiamo chiamare persone di altra specie, tutte loro fuoriscite dalla violenza zootecnica e che qui hanno trovato un luogo sicuro con persone che si prendono cura di loro senza chiedere nulla in cambio.

Capre, pecore, mucche, asini, maiali, galline e galli, piccioni, gatti e molti altri convivono con noi e con tutti quegli altri animali che hanno scelto Agripunk come rotta migratoria e luogo per riprodursi come rane, rospi, pipistrelli, rondini, balestrucci, rondoni, libellule, granchi di fiume…

Il nostro trasloco potrebbe impattare in maniera invasiva su un ecosistema unico che si è ricreato in questa valle in questi anni.

Last week, the motion proposed by Dmitri Palagi was approved by the City Council of Florence and will be sent to the Tuscany Region in the coming days.

Also in recent days, a parliamentary question was filed in our favor by the Honorable Devis Dori, requesting a solution that will allow us to continue our existence.

In the meantime, a preliminary meeting has taken place between our technician, Engineer Cardinali, and the Municipality of Bucine, and another will be held in our presence on June 16th.

Through all of this, we are trying to look to the future and can announce that a fantastic project for the future of this place, led by Lisa Carignani and Chiara Massimi, is nearing completion and will be presented at that event.

For those wondering how you can help us, please share our story and this fundraiser!

This place is home to nearly a hundred animals of various species, some liberated from the violence of animal husbandry, and others who choose this place as a safe haven.

This space has been and continues to be visited by hundreds of people, including volunteers, artists, musicians, and activists. Before us, 30,000 turkeys went to the slaughterhouse every three months after a brief period of non-existence locked inside these warehouses.

For 12 years, this place has meant something else.

We cannot let it go.

WHO LIVES AT THE SHELTER

The shelter is inhabited by approximately 80 animals, which we prefer to call "people of another species." All of them have escaped the cruelty of livestock farming and have found a safe haven here, with people who care for them without asking for anything in return.

Goats, sheep, cows, donkeys, pigs, chickens and roosters, pigeons, cats, and many others live alongside us and all the other animals that have chosen Agripunk as a migratory route and breeding ground, such as frogs, toads, bats, swallows, house martins, swifts, dragonflies, and river crabs.

Our move could have a significant impact on the unique ecosystem that has been reborn in this valley over the years.
