Cari amici e amiche, 

Siamo molto felici di invitarvi alla settima edizione di upRisingUp danza e performance dal 3 al 10 Luglio 2026 a Ostuni presso La Radice dei Viandanti. 

RADICARSI è il nome che abbiamo voluto dare quest’anno all’esperienza che faremo insieme. Quando un gesto, un desiderio, un’intenzione, attraverso la cura sedimenta e s’incarna finché trasforma ciò che eravamo e l’ambiente in cui interagiamo in ciò che siamo oggi. Un senso di casa, che più che un luogo diventa un sentimento, un modo di stare, e un modo di stare insieme alle persone che frequentiamo. Un senso di appartenenza. 

upRisingUp 2026 mette al centro la creatività di chi riceve. Gli artisti raccoglieranno e condivideranno - e vi chiederanno di fare altrettanto - gesti, danze, sguardi e riflessioni su quest’arte che, apparentemente effimera, conserva il potere di commuovere, di muovere insieme, corpi e cuori. 

Quest’anno ad illuminare i nostri gesti sarà la luce del tramonto e le stelle che emergeranno dal crepuscolo. Gli artisti e ospiti del TRAMONTO vi aspetteranno alle 18.30h. Gli artisti del CREPUSCOLO vi aspetteranno alle 20.30h. Tra i due momenti coglieremo l'occasione per scambiare parole, poesie e chiacchiere, accompagnate da vino e taralli offerti da upRisingUp. 

RADICARSI aprirà il 3 Luglio con la ricerca creativa tessuta con dedizione durante un anno di lavoro dai partecipanti del laboratorio Il Linguaggio del Corpo Vivente, ormai  una tradizione. 

Seguiranno mattine, pomeriggi e serate con performance di danza e laboratori dedicati ad adulti, bambini, alle famiglie, agli artisti, agli appassionati e ai curiosi.

Due esposizioni fotografiche dedicate alla poesia del corpo in movimento apriranno e concluderanno upRisingUp 2026.

L’esperienza culminerà nella creazione e condivisione de La Danza Della Radice e una festa finale!

We are very happy to invite you to the 7th edition of upRisingUp dance and performancefrom July 3rd to 10th, 2026 in Ostuni at La Radice dei Viandanti.

ROOTING is the name we wanted to give to the experience we will have together, this year. When a gesture, a desire, an intention, through care, settles and embodies itself until it transforms what we were and the environment into what we are today. A sense of home, which becomes more than just a place, but a feeling, a way of being, and a way of being with people. A sense of belonging.

UpRisingUp 2026 focuses on the creativity of who receives. The artists will collect and share —and ask you to do the same —gestures, dances, glances, and reflections on this art that, although seemingly ephemeral, retains the power to move, to move together, bodies and hearts.

This year, the light of the sunset and the stars emerging from the twilight will illuminate our gestures. At SUNSET the artists and guests will be waiting for you at 6:30PM. At DAWN the artists will be waiting for you at 8:30PM. Between the two events, we'll take the opportunity to exchange words, poetry, and conversation, accompanied by a glass of wine and taralli offered by upRisingUp.

ROOTING will open on July 3rd with the creative research woven with dedication during a year of work by the participants of the annual Lab Il Linguaggio del Corpo Vivente (Language of the Living Body), which has by now become a tradition.

Following will be mornings, afternoons, and evenings with dance performances and workshops for adults, children, families, artists, enthusiasts, and curious people.

Two photographic exhibitions dedicated to the poetry of the moving body will open and close upRisingUp 2026.

The experience will culminate in the creation and sharing of The Wayfarer's Root DANCE and a final celebration!
