Perchè organizziamo Democrazia in Europa?

Troppo spesso siamo posti di fronte a una falsa scelta: abbandonare il progetto europeo e tornare a rifugiarci nei confini nazionali oppure accettare uno status quo fallimentare. Rifiutiamo questa scelta perché sappiamo che un’alternativa esiste, ed è per questo che lavoriamo per un’Europa più giusta, democratica, e accogliente.

Quest’evento sarà l’occasione per definire assieme i prossimi obiettivi concreti, tramite un’assemblea partecipativa e un’evento serale con moltissimi speakers di alto rilievo e il lancio DiEM25 in Italia.

Why are we organising Democracy in Europe?

We are too often told that we must choose between reverting to the nation state or maintaining the crisis status quo. We reject both options because we know that alternative paths exist. That is why we are working to build a more democratic, just and creative Europe.

During the event we seek to collaboratively build an agenda for the next steps and priorities through a participatory assembly and a spectacular closing event with amazing speakers and the launch of the first campaign of DiEM25, the new movement launched by Yanis Varoufakis.
