COSA?

LuCoworQ-spazio aperto, come dice il nome è uno spazio unico, arredato completamente con mobili riciclati e adattati, che nasce come un coworking alcuni mesi fa a Lugo di Romagna. Lu sta per Lugo, Cowor sta per Coworking e Q sta per Qualità.  L’obiettivo è di raccogliere in un'unica piazza: idee, progetti, sogni, talenti, bisogni e risorse, innovazione e nuove sinergie.

COME È NATO?

È nato grazie a un bando provinciale per progetti innovativi riservato alle persone appartenenti alle categorie protette.

MI PRESENTO!

Sono Orietta, certamente difronte alle circostanze della vita cerco sempre di trovare l’aspetto positivo accogliendone le sfide che esse mi propongono. Invece di abbattermi cerco sempre di accogliere le circostanze come opportunità  cosi  ho fatto in occasione del bando. Ho scelto come progetto innovativo da presentare: il coworking. Un nuovo modo di lavorare. In questa avventura mi ha sempre sostenuta Mohamed, il mio compagno da una vita, anche lui abituato a cogliere e ad affrontare con determinazione le sfide che la vita dona.

COME FUNZIONA LUCOWORQ?

Durante questi primi mesi si sono presentati, presso Lucoworq, pochi coworkers bisognosi di una scrivania su cui lavorare. Con grande stupore si sono presentate persone di età e professioni differenti: dal medico ayurvedico che cerca uno spazio flessibile per accogliere i suoi pazienti della zona e per fare le sue conferenze; alla ragazza appena laureata in culture e tecnica della moda e bisognosa di uno spazio dove realizzare i propri corsi di cucito; alla donna over 50 desiderosa e bisognosa di rinnovarsi mettendo a frutto le proprie conoscenze e competenze; all’uomo anch’esso cinquantenne appena licenziato che non si scoraggia e pensa a come rimettersi in gioco cercando uno spazio flessibile per poter realizzare corsi su tematiche da lui studiate e approfondite nel corso della vita avendolo da sempre appassionato “ c’è chi crede che i sogni possono diventare realtà  ed essere anche una fonte di reddito”. 

COME CERCARE DI RISPONDERE A QUESTE ESIGENZE?

Ovviamente difronte a queste richieste Lucoworq spazio aperto è riuscito a soddisfare poche delle esigenze incrociate sia per come è strutturato il locale sia perché i redditi sono stati abbastanza bassi e il finanziamento riguardava solo l’avvio dell’attività. Cosa fare? Chiudere…Dopo tante energie spese e relazioni createsi avrebbe significato arrendersi senza fare tutto il possibile, il fallimento consiste proprio nel non provarci. Vogliamo provarle tutte cosi ci siamo messi a cercare una nuova sede con ambienti separati in modo da poter soddisfare  contemporaneamente più esigenze. Abbiamo trovato uno spazio proprio nella via principale di Lugo che sebbene sia più piccolo è perfetta per noi: ha una sala grande e due ambienti più piccoli. Tali ambienti sono stati occupati dall’Asl, sino a qualche anno fa, da circa sei anni sono sfitti. A dire il vero tutta la via, pur essendo una delle vie principali della città, sta morendo, lentamente molti negozi chiudono: aprire il coworking in tale via significherebbe ridarle vita.

COME RIPROGETTARSI?

In una società come la nostra che cambia ad un ritmo velocissimo, dove spesso manca il tempo e la capacità di adattarsi al movimento in atto, può capitare di sentirsi tagliati fuori sia chi ha superato gli anta, spesso fuori dal circuito lavorativo classico, sia il giovane con idee brillanti considerate fuori riga l’alleanza : di cervelli di neuroni, pensieri, azioni e  talenti in movimento è l’unica prospettiva da percorrere. Lucoworq desidera essere un luogo dove potersi reinventare sia lavorativamente che come essere umano che gioca un ruolo fondamentale e centrale nel determinare un autentico cambiamento gestendo la propria vita con fiducia e non con rassegnazione giocando il proprio ruolo con autenticità, consapevolezza e fiducia in se stessi, nella vita e negli altri.

COSA SERVE?

Il locale lo abbiamo trovato, l’Ente proprietario dell’immobile è una fondazione che usa  gli affitti dei locali di sua proprietà per aiutare chi si trova nel bisogno. Quest’ultima è stata molto comprensiva anche nei nostri confronti e ci ha permesso di fare noi stessi i vari lavori di manutenzione cosi da poter essere ridotto il canone mensile che comunque c’è e sappiamo bene che i primi mesi saranno, da un punto di vista dei guadagni, quelli più magri quindi ti chiediamo di aiutarci, qualunque sarà il tuo contributo economico sarà per tutti noi preziosissimo e ci permetterà di poter continuare questo cammino.

SOMMA:

La cifra di cui abbiamo bisogno sia per rendere il locale accessibile che per pagare i primi mesi di affitto e di spese varie, per poter lavorare tranquilli tutti quanti, è di 6.000 euro.

ACCEPTING THE CHANGE CHALLENGE, WORKING TOGETHER

WHAT?

LUCOWORQ is a peculiar open space, fully furnished with recycled and adapted furniture,born a few months ago as “co-working” in Lugo di Romagna: LU means Lugo, COWOR means cowork, Q means quality.

His purpose is gathering in a single container: ideas, plans,dreams,needs and resources.

HOW HAS IT STARTED? 

Due to a provincial call for bids for innovator plans, dedicated to sheltered categories.

I INTRODUCE MYSELF

I am Orietta; undoubtedly, in facing life circumstances, I always try to find the positive side, accepting their challenges. Instead of losing heart, I always try to see them as chances. In the particular occasion of the call for bids, I decided to present an innovator plan:  “CO-WORKING”,a new way of working together. In this adventure, I have always been sustained by Mohamed (my partner since ever), accustomed like me to pick up and face with determination all the life challenges.

HOW IT WORKS ”LUCOWORQ”?

During the last months, at the beginning, few persons arrived in search for co-workers emplacements. With my great surprise, I got in touch with people of different ages and professions: from the ayurvedic doctor looking for a flexible space where receiving his patients and holding conferences; to the just graduate girl looking for a space where realizing her needle-work classes; to the woman of fifty ready for renewal, and for making use of her knowledge and abilities in the point of view of transforming her job; to the man of fifty, just dismissed,  who doesn’t lose heart and tries to start something new again….and so on!

We believe that “Dreams Can Become Reality”… and in our case can become a source of maintenance.

HOW CAN WE MEET THESE NEEDS?

Obviously, Lucoworq open space is actually able to satisfy just a few of these crossed needs: because of the room structure, and because the revenue until now has been very poor! The financing has just covered the start...then we had to walk on our own!

What to do? Closing? After so many energies spent and relations created, this would have meant giving up without having done all what is in our strength : we believe that failure consists in not having tried. We decided to look for a new office with separate rooms; in this way different requirements can be satisfied at the same time. 

We found the suitable place exactly in Lugo main street; smaller than the previous one, but perfect for us: equipped with three rooms, a bigger one and two smaller. These locals had been vacant since three years; but the entire street is going to die, many shops are closing: opening the co-working here means to restore the entire area.

HOW TO RE-INVENT OURSELVES?

In our own society (that is changing at a very fast rithm, where often time is missed,   and adapting to its movements is not easy) we can feel a sense of exclusion. This can be real for the aged person; but also for the young one, who still has so many projects  and dreams to be realized. Change can bring an insecurity feeling; but can also  be a growth opportunity, a natural constant in our lives. Actually, so many are the signs of change; but we must train ourselves, get out from our insecurities , accepting all the difficulties related; it is in the discomfort , so unpleasant for many people, that we can grow: difficult moments can helps us to express those resources, to whom we would have never thought in other situations. It’s true: today we are living in a crisis period; not only economic, but also of values and ideas. It’s not the moment to retire in ourselves and let the problems to anguish us and managing our lives. It’s the moment instead of acting in a positive way, each one of us taking his (or her) responsibilities in front of life. The moment has arrived:  the time for employing our capabilities, our imagination, our gifts and all the mental richness at our disposal; in search for new social life aggregations, testing new models; in the point of view of proving that is still possible to feel being new persons, able to live in a more human and worthy way . LUCOWORQ  accepts the challenge of the change; it is a place where can re-invent ourselves in the job field, in the realization of our talents and abilities, putting into effect new cooperation forms, free from competition, in the respect of the human being dignity. Each one of us plays a central and fundamental role in creating a genuine change, managing our own lives with confidence and not with submission; playing our own role in an authentic way, with consciousness and trust in ourselves, in other people and in life.  

WHAT IS IT NECESSARY?

Summing up:

We are a community of people ready to work hard; we found what we were looking for: a space, whose owner is a charity organization that utilizes the rent profits in the help of poor and needy. There is this mutual consent:  we will make the works necessaries for the maintenance; to be then deducted from the monthly rent, that is still quite heavy: specially the first months will be the hardest,  being our income surely insufficient.

WHAT ARE WE ASKING FOR..

The amount needed (in order to be  able to cover all the expenses , originating from the restructuration  and from the first year rent) is of 6.000,00 euros.
