PWT Italy wishes to prepare a special birthday present to Nick Manfredi and wishes to open the possibility to contribute to the present to all the orienteering friends all over the World. 

Who is Nick Manfredi? 

Nick Manfredi is the singer of orienteering, he created the song “You and me”, dedicated to all the orienteers.

Nick will turn 70 years old in 2017 and the special present consists in the trip to Vancouver, Canada. 

Why did we think to Canada? 

Because Nick had lived in Vancouver for many years of his life, and still has a part of the family there, including his mom of 92 y.o. and his son with his family. 

How will the trip be? 

Nick never took an airplane in his life, and probably never will. So the trip will include the trip on land to Southampton (UK), then the cruise on the Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York, and then the trip on land from New York to Vancouver. 

The Queen Mary 2 is a special cruise for Nick, as it is the same he took for the first time, when he was 17, to emigrate in Canada. 

The departure of the cruise is on 7th June, and the return on 7th September 2017. 

The total cost of the trip will around 6.000,00€. 

When will be the next possibility to see Nick live? 

During MOC Tour, an orienteering tour in the south of Italy, from 3rd to 12th March 2017. In particular, his performance is attended at MEC Paestum hotel in Paestum/Capaccio (SA) on 11th March at 20.30.
