Sullo sfondo spiccatamente neorealista delle immagini originali del periodo - fornite dall'Istituto Luce - il connubio di racconto e musica da' vita a uno spettacolo multimediale e itinerante, in cui gli spettatori interagiscono con l'interprete e sono condotti attraverso viaggi, racconti, speranze, in una Storia passata che, in qualche modo, appartiene a tutti noi.

Dalla parole di Virginia Tonfoni, giornalista, scritte appositamente per la prima presentazione di “Insabbiati”:
“Roma 1940. Quando l'Istituto Luce gli propone di andare a girare un documentario in Etiopia, Ricciotti Menotti Bischi, videoperatore della nascente industria cinematografica, accetta emozionato e lascia la moglie Augusta e i tre figli a Roma. Le sue lettere indirizzate alla moglie e poi fortunatamente giunte alle mani della nipote, l'attrice Valentina Bischi, disegnano la traccia della narrazione di "Insabbiati". L'interprete veste i panni di Augusta, dando voce a coloro che vivono nell'attesa e nel ricordo della presenza del marito, del padre, dell'amico. Come in un malinconico affresco neorealista, evocativo e convincente, la scena è scarna: solo una conca piena di biancheria, il filo per tenderla e sul fondale una casetta bianca sulla quale scorrono le immagini d'epoca dell'Istituto Luce, materiale che impreziosisce la storia sospesa tra ricordo intimo e ricostruzione storica. "Insabbiati" è un racconto per una voce accompagnata da una chitarra in scena, unico controcanto lirico a questa Penelope della resistenza che racconta, legge e ricorda il marito aspettando il suo ritorno."

The background distinctly original pictures of a neorealist period - given by Istituto Luce - the combination of story and music gives life to a multimedia performance, in which the audience interact with the actress and led through her journey, stories, hopes, into a past history, that somehow belongs to all of us.

Virginia Tamim, journalist, wrote after the first presentation of  "Insabbiati": "Rome 1940. When the Institute proposes to go to shoot a documentary in Ethiopia, Ricciotti Menotti Bischi, cameramen of the burgeoning film industry, gets excited and leaves his wife Augusta and his three children. His letters, addressed to his wife and fortunately found by his nephew, Valentina Bischi, are the basis of the theater play: "Insabbiati". Valentina Bischi plays the role of Augusta and gives a voice to those who are liveing in anticipation and in memory of the presence of a husband, a father and a friend. As in a melancholic Neorealist picture, evocative and convincing, the scene is minimal: only a bin full of laundry, the washing line to tighten it and in the back the white house on which are running vintage images of the Istituto Luce, embellishes the story material suspended between intimate memories and historical reconstruction."

Im Hintergrund Originalbilder einer neo-realistischen Periode - vom Istituto Luce - die in Kombination mit Geschichte und Musik eine multimediale Performance Leben ein hauchen. Eine Performance in der das Publikum mit der Schauspielerin interagiert, ihrem Aufbruch in die Geschichte, ihren Hoffnungen und ihrem Wandel folgt, in eine Vergangenheit die uns am Ende allen gehört.

Die Journalistin Virginia Tamim schrieb für die Premiere von „Insabbiati“: "Rom 1940. Das Istituto Luce bietet Ricciotti Menotti Bischi einen Auftrag, einen Dokumentarfilm in Äthiopien zu drehen, an. Ricciotti Menotti Bischi, ein Kameramänner der aufkeimenden Filmindustrie, nimmt begeistert an und verlässt seine Frau Augusta und seine drei Kindern. Die Briefe die er während seiner Zeit in Afrika an seine Frau schrieb und glücklicherweise in die Hände seiner Neffin, Valentina Bischi, fiellen, bilden den roten Faden dieser Erzählung. Die Schauspielerin verkörpert die Rolle der Augusta und verleiht so denjenigen eine Stimme die in Erwartung und Erinnerung an die Abwesenheit eines Ehemanns, eines Vaters, eines Freundes zurück geblieben sind. Ein melancholisch, neo-realistisches Bild entsteht, eindrucksvolle und überzeugend. Das Bühnenbild ist minimalistisch: ein alter Wäschekorb voll Wäsche, die Wäscheleine um sie aufzuhängen und im Hintergrund ein kleines, weißes Haus, welches gleichzeitig als Leinwand für alte Filmaufnahmen des Istituto Luce dient. Aufnahmen, die die Geschichte zwischen intimen Erinnerungen und historischer Rekonstruktion dekorieren."

INSABBIATI è stato selezionato per il COFFI FESTIVAL 2015 a Berlino: www.coffi-festival.de 
Si tratta di un festival che si terrà dal 9 al 12 luglio e si occuperà di cinema,teatro e cultura italiana.
La scelta di INSABBIATI ci onora e così abbiamo deciso di partecipare.
L'organizzazione del Festival potrà coprire solo in parte le spese.
Crediamo che sia un'occasione importante poter partecipare al Coffi Festival con il nostro spettacolo e per questo ci affidiamo ad una co- produzione collettiva.
La cifra che abbiamo individuato servirà a coprire:
- Spese di viaggio
- Video promozionale dello spettacolo
- Traduzione del testo e sovratitoli video per la messa in scena al Festival.

 It is a festival to be held from 9 to 12 July and will deal with italien cinema, theatre and culture.
We are honoured by the decision and we decided to participate.But the organization of the Festival will cover only a part of our costs. We believe it is an important opportunity to participate at the Coffi Festival with our show and for this we rely to a collective co-production.

- Translation of the script and poastproduction for the overtitles

Das Festival findet vom 9. bis 12. Juli statt und befasst sich mit italienischem Kino, Theater und italienischer Kultur.
Die Wahl ehrt uns und natürlich kommen wir nach Berlin.
Da die Festivalorganisatoren nur einen Teil unserer Kosten übernehmen, wir aber diese wichtige und schone Gelegenheit für unsere Show nicht verpassen wollen, haben wir uns für eine kollektive Co-Produktion entschieden.
